City & Housing Tips

Tashkent (Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusabad) is the main city and by far the most practical option. Samarkand and Bukhara are culturally significant but have limited infrastructure. Uzbekistan has been rapidly modernizing and opening to tourism.

Vets & Common Parasites

Basic vet care in Tashkent with several clinics. Quality is improving as the country modernizes. Outside Tashkent, vet care is very limited. Costs are very affordable. Extreme temperatures: summers reach 40°C+, winters drop to -10°C.
