Official Import Rules

Turkmenistan requires an import permit from the State Veterinary Service obtained through the embassy, a valid rabies vaccination certificate, a veterinary health certificate issued within 10 days of travel endorsed by your government veterinary authority, and microchip identification (ISO standard).

Turkmenistan has strict import controls and permits can take several weeks to process.

All documents may need to be translated into Russian or Turkmen.
