City & Housing Tips

Belgrade (Vračar, Dorćol, Stari Grad) and Novi Sad are the main expat destinations. Serbia is increasingly popular with digital nomads. Very affordable living costs. Most apartments accept cats. Vibrant café culture with a relaxed attitude to pets.

Vets & Common Parasites

Good veterinary care in Belgrade at very affordable prices. Several modern clinics with English-speaking vets. Emergency services available. Novi Sad also has decent vet options. Outside these cities, care is more basic.
