City & Housing Tips

Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir are extremely cat-friendly. Turkey is arguably the most cat-loving country in the world — Istanbul alone has hundreds of thousands of street cats that are cared for by the community. Finding cat-friendly housing is generally easy.

Vets & Common Parasites

Good veterinary care in major cities at affordable prices. Istanbul has multiple 24-hour emergency clinics. Common parasites: fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms. Leishmaniasis risk in southern regions.
