Pro Tip
The Oslo–Kiel overnight cruise is an excellent way to get a cat between Norway and Germany without flying. The crossing is smooth and the cabins are comfortable. From Kiel, you can drive to anywhere in Europe. For the short Kristiansand–Hirtshals crossing (3.5 hours), your cat can stay in the car.
