City & Housing Tips

Asunción (Villa Morra, Carmelitas) is the main city. Ciudad del Este has basic services. Paraguay has a growing pet culture and affordable cost of living. Many expats are drawn by the low taxes and easy residency options.

Vets & Common Parasites

Basic but adequate vet care in Asunción, especially in the Villa Morra and Carmelitas areas. Costs are very affordable. Outside Asunción, vet care is limited.
