About This Facility
Brazil's primary international airport for pet imports. VIGIAGRO conducts all animal import inspections.
Cats require a health certificate within 10 days of departure, valid rabies vaccination (30+ days old), an International Zoosanitary Certificate (CZI), and clearance from MAPA. No quarantine for cats from most countries with current documentation.

Accompanied pets clear at the arrivals customs area.
Have all documentation ready including the CZI (International Zoosanitary Certificate).

IMPORTANT: Brazil requires the health certificate endorsed by your origin country's government vet AND by the nearest Brazilian consulate.
This consular endorsement step is unique and catches many owners off guard — allow extra time.
The CZI must be in Portuguese or with certified translation.
