The KLM Cargo Animal Hotel at Schiphol is one of the world's premier pet transit facilities, handling approximately 25,000 dogs and cats, 6,000 horses, and 22 million chickens annually. Fully operational 24/7, it is staffed by attendants trained at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Amsterdam Zoo Artis.
Features include a unique dog-walking service, individual kennels, a full quarantine station, and climate-controlled holding areas. A veterinarian is on call at all times.
